Marinas & Boat Access

Bay access, slips and boat services on both sides of the peninsula.

Boating is close to the reason Long Neck exists. The peninsula sits between Rehoboth Bay to the west and Indian River Bay to the east — both shallow, protected water suited to smaller powerboats, crabbing skiffs, kayaks and paddleboards, with the Indian River Inlet giving access to the Atlantic when conditions allow.

Most communities on the peninsula, Pot-Nets included, are built around private docks, boat lifts and community slips rather than one central public marina — which is part of why the area reads as boat culture even without a single obvious hub. Below are the marina and boating businesses currently licensed here.
